Since I was young I have always enjoyed participating in volunteer activities, social works and various groups in different places. In the beginning, I was involved in a variety of topics from community kitchens in southern Chile to working as an English professor in Kolkata for 6 months. But little by little I began to focus my social interests in the area of education, to which I am completely dedicated today. If you add to this the fact that I was born to a family of nomads (we moved many times...houses, cities, countries and even languages), you can find the roots that eventually led me to America Solidaria. - It was during a trip through Latin America that I got the call to "collaborate" on the Haiti projects. After having traveled through Central America for 7 months we arrived in a country that defied all standards. "Haiti cherie," a country that has deeply enchanted travelers by challenging pre-conceived notions of how social institutions work and fascinated them with its sharp contrast between material poverty and the wealth of human and natural resources. In Haiti I fell in love with the cause and applied for the position I currently hold (Technical Advisor for Education). This has allowed me to continuously discover and learn about the small differences between each location where our education projects are being implemented. I am ready for any and all new challenges that come my way.
